The Montafon region boasts several mountains, including the Silvretta, Hochjoch, and Golm, with elevations reaching up to 2,300 meters. Notable pistes include the long runs from the top of the Hochjochbahn and the challenging terrain of the Silvretta Arena, serviced by efficient lifts like the Zamangbahn and the Valisera Bahn.
Montafon offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Montafon is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 63 minutes drive away.
Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Innsbruck Airport, Zurich, Lugano, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Stuttgart, Munich and Basel airports are all within three hours drive.
St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
To reach Montafon, travelers can fly into Innsbruck or Zurich airports, both of which are well-connected to the resort via public transport and car. The scenic drive through the Alps adds to the travel experience.
