The resort is nestled in the impressive Silvretta Mountains, with the highest peak reaching 2,400 meters. Notable ski areas include the Garfrescha and the Versettla, featuring well-groomed pistes such as the 'Nostalgie' and the 'Garfrescha' runs, serviced by modern lifts like the Garfrescha 2 and Versettla Bahn.

St Gallenkirch offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to St Gallenkirch is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 53 minutes drive away.

Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Innsbruck Airport, Zurich, Lugano, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Munich, Basel and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

St Gallenkirch is easily accessible via Innsbruck Airport, approximately 100 kilometers away. Alternatively, you can reach the resort from Zurich Airport, located about 200 kilometers away, making travel straightforward for international visitors.

The 28 ski lifts are able to uplift 40,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 56km of ski runs, with 50 snow cannons.

When is St Gallenkirch open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
