Skiing

The ski area of Schruns is primarily served by the Hochjochbahn and the Zamangbahn lifts, leading up to the impressive Hochjoch mountain at an elevation of 2,450 meters. Notable pistes include the long, exhilarating runs from the summit down to the valley, providing diverse terrain and scenic views throughout the ski area.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarding enthusiasts will enjoy the terrain parks in nearby Silvretta Montafon, featuring jumps and rails that challenge all levels. The resort's variety of runs allows for endless exploration on a snowboard, making it a thrilling destination.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Schruns is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 48 minutes drive away.

Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck Airport, Memmingen, Zurich, Munich, Stuttgart, Basel, Lugano and Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Schruns, travelers can fly into Zürich Airport (ZRH) and take a scenic train ride or drive approximately 2 hours to the resort. Alternatively, Innsbruck Airport (INN) is about a 2-hour drive and offers a more direct route to Montafon.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 11 ski lifts are able to uplift 14,400 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 14km of ski runs, with 25 snow cannons.

When is Schruns open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, Schruns offers lively après-ski options like the 'Schrunser Stube', known for its cozy atmosphere and local cuisine. For nightlife, 'Bar Gletscherblick' provides a vibrant setting to unwind with drinks and music.
