Barèges is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of La Mongie.

The resort features the Pic du Midi and La Mongie mountains, with elevations reaching 2,877 meters. Key pistes include the challenging black runs of La Pène and the scenic blue runs of Les Granges, serviced by lifts like the Télécabine du Tourmalet and the Télésiège de la Mongie.
Barèges offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Barèges is Lourdes, 50 minutes drive away.
Pau, Toulouse, Biarritz, San Sebastián and Carcassonne airports are all within three hours drive.
Lourdes is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Barèges is easily accessible via the nearest major airports in Toulouse and Tarbes. From there, travelers can take a combination of train and bus services to reach the resort.
