The ski area of Cauterets lies at an elevation of 1,400 meters, reaching up to 2,450 meters at the top of the skiable terrain. Notable pistes include the long runs of the ‘Lac de Gaube’ and ‘Pierre St Martin’, while lifts like the 'Lys' and 'Cirque du Lys' ensure efficient access to the slopes.

Cauterets offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Cauterets is Lourdes, 46 minutes drive away.

Pau, Biarritz, Toulouse, San Sebastián and Carcassonne airports are all within three hours drive.

Lourdes is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Cauterets is easily accessible from major airports such as Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées and Toulouse. Travelers can reach the resort via car or bus, with scenic routes through the Pyrenees enhancing the journey.
