Nestled in the Monterosa Ski area, Alagna Valsesia boasts over 180 km of slopes catering to all skill levels. The resort is known for its picturesque scenery and a welcoming atmosphere, making it ideal for families and adventurers alike.

The ski area of Alagna Valsesia is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,191m, with 15km of marked runs.

Alagna Valsesia is part of the Monterosa ski area with access to 64 marked pistes, served by a total of 52 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Alagna Valsesia itself (15km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Monterosa ski resorts of Antagnod, Brusson, Champoluc, Champorcher, Gressoney Saint Jean and Gressoney la Trinité.

With ski lifts as high as 3,260m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

Alagna Valsesia features the impressive Monte Rosa massif, reaching elevations of up to 2,800 meters. The ski area includes notable pistes like the 'Pista del Sole' and 'Pista Valsesia,' with lifts such as the Alagna-Pianalunga and the Punta Indren gondola enhancing access to varied terrain.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will enjoy the terrain parks available at Alagna Valsesia, particularly the well-maintained park at Pianalunga. With features for all levels, it provides an excellent space for freestyle enthusiasts to practice their skills.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Alagna Valsesia is Milan Malpensa, 120 minutes drive away.

Milan Linate, Turin Caselle, Bergamo, Lugano and Genoa airports are all within three hours drive.

Alagna Valsesia is accessible via major airports such as Milan Malpensa and Turin, both about 2 hours away by car. The drive offers scenic views of the Alps, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination.

Season Dates

When is Alagna Valsesia open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November (Opens when snow cover adequate in late Nov or early Dec), and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at local bars such as the 'Bar Ristorante Vetta' or enjoy dinner at 'Rifugio Città di Vigevano.' For nightlife, the 'Casa del Popolo' offers a lively atmosphere for socializing.
