The ski area of Bormio is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,200m, with 39km of marked runs.

Bormio is part of the Alta Valtellina ski area with access to 112 marked pistes, served by a total of 62 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Bormio itself (39km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Alta Valtellina ski resorts of Livigno and Santa Caterina.

With ski lifts as high as 3,020m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bormio is Bolzano, 120 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Bergamo, Brescia and St. Gallen-Altenrhein airports are all within three hours drive.

Bormio is accessible via major airports such as Milan Malpensa and Bergamo. From these airports, a scenic drive or shuttle service will take you directly to the resort.
