 Summary

Santa Caterina boasts over 35 kilometers of ski runs, with a vertical drop of around 900 meters. The resort's high elevation ensures excellent snow conditions throughout the season.

The ski area of Santa Caterina is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,740m, with 35km of marked runs.

Santa Caterina is part of the Alta Valtellina ski area with access to 112 marked pistes, served by a total of 62 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Santa Caterina itself (35km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Alta Valtellina ski resorts of Bormio and Livigno.

The ski resort itself is at 1,740m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,890m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Santa Caterina is Bari, 79 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport airport is also within three hours drive.

Santa Caterina is accessible via several major airports, including Milan Malpensa and Bergamo. From there, travelers can take a train or shuttle service directly to the resort.

After a day on the slopes, visitors can unwind at local bars like Bar Pasticceria and restaurants such as Ristorante Al Cantuccio. The vibrant atmosphere makes for a perfect way to end the day.
