Solda/Sulden has direct access to 40km of downhill skiing, with 23 marked pistes, served by a total of 11 ski lifts.

The ski resort itself is at 1,900m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 3,250m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

The longest possible descent in Solda/Sulden is 9km long and the most difficult run is the 'Discese Massimo', which is 11km in length.

Skiing

The resort is dominated by the Ortler mountain, standing at 3,905 meters. Key ski areas include the Solda Glacier, with notable pistes like the long descent from the Madritschjoch and efficient lifts such as the Solda cable car and the Kanzel cable car.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Solda/Sulden is Bolzano, 87 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, St. Gallen-Altenrhein and Verona airports are all within three hours drive.

Solda/Sulden is accessible via major airports in Bolzano and Innsbruck. From there, travelers can reach the resort by car or shuttle service, making it convenient for visitors.

The 11 ski lifts are able to uplift 2,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Aprés Ski

For après-ski, head to the lively Bar Doss for drinks or enjoy a meal at the Restaurant Pizzeria Baita. The resort also features a few cozy bars perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes.
