Skiing

Arolla features a ski area that reaches elevations of up to 3,000 meters, providing access to over 60 kilometers of pistes. Notable runs include the La Berne and the Piste de l'Ours, with lifts such as the Arolla gondola and the Plateau lift ensuring easy access to the slopes.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Arolla is Sion, 45 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Annecy and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Arolla, the nearest major airports are Geneva and Sion, both offering good connections to the region. From these airports, travelers can take a train or shuttle service to the charming village of Arolla.

The five ski lifts are able to uplift 3,550 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Season Dates

When is Arolla open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.

Aprés Ski
