Skiing

The ski areas around Chur include the nearby Arosa-Lenzerheide, with elevations reaching up to 2,865 meters. Notable pistes such as the Rothorn and Piste 9 are complemented by efficient lifts like the Hörnli and Ried lift, ensuring smooth access to the slopes.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Chur is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 56 minutes drive away.

Friedrichshafen, Zurich, Lugano, Memmingen, Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Innsbruck Airport, Milan Malpensa and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Chur is easily accessible via the Zurich Airport, approximately 1.5 hours away by train. The direct rail connection makes travel convenient for skiers from major cities.

Usual opening is late December, and usual closing is Early April.
