Emmetten features the impressive Niederbauen peak, reaching an elevation of 2,073 meters. The ski area offers around 12 kilometers of pistes, with notable runs like the steep descent from the Niederbauen cable car and the scenic routes back to the village.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Emmetten is Zurich, 67 minutes drive away.

Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Lugano, Berne, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Milan Malpensa, Friedrichshafen, Sion and Strasbourg airports are all within three hours drive.

Zurich is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Emmetten is easily accessible via Lucerne, with connections to major cities like Zurich and Geneva. The drive from Lucerne takes about 30 minutes, making it a convenient destination for day trips.
