Mürren is a charming car-free ski resort nestled in the Swiss Alps. With breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains, it offers a unique skiing experience.

Mürren is part of the Jungfrau Region ski area with access to 131 marked pistes, served by a total of 66 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Mürren itself (53km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Jungfrau Region ski resorts of Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Wengen.
The ski resort itself is at 1,650m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,970m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing
The resort is situated on the Schilthorn, with an elevation of 2,970 meters. Key lifts include the Schilthorn Piz Gloria gondola and the Allmendhubel funicular, leading to notable pistes like the Black Run and the long, scenic descents from the Schilthorn summit.
Mürren offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.
Snowboarding

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Mürren is Berne, 70 minutes drive away.
Zurich, Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Geneva, Sion, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Annecy and Lugano airports are all within three hours drive.
Mürren is accessible via Interlaken, where you can catch a train to Lauterbrunnen and then a cable car to the village. The journey provides stunning views and is conveniently connected to major Swiss cities.
