The resort is situated on the Mundaun mountain range, with elevations reaching up to 2,400 meters. Notable ski areas include the Nagens and Val Lumnezia, featuring well-maintained pistes like the Nagens run and efficient lifts such as the Mundaun cable car.

Obersaxen offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Obersaxen is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 97 minutes drive away.

Friedrichshafen, Lugano, Zurich, Memmingen and Basel airports are all within three hours drive.

Obersaxen is easily accessible via the nearest major airports in Zurich and Bern. From there, travelers can take scenic train rides followed by a short bus journey to the resort.

The 20 ski lifts are able to uplift 4,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 5km of ski runs, with 16 snow cannons.
