If you remember the ski company Bladon Lines, then the chances are you were a skier in the 1980s and 1990s, when they were the leading chalet company in the UK.
Famous for employing 'Sloane Rangers' and chalet girls from a 'certain background', Bladon Lines dominated the early years of ski chalet holidays. They started with just three chalets in Verbier and finished with hundreds across many resorts, from Meribel to Courmayeur, Risoul to St Anton.
Yet by the mid-90s, the company had been bought by Inghams and the brand was phased out of existence.
The latest episode of The Ski Podcast interviews many of the people who were there at the time to get to the truth of the 'Rise and Fall of Bladon Lines'.
Host Iain Martin speaks with co-founder Simon Bladon and former staff, including Amin Momen, John Yates Smith, Ed Mannix and Gareth Crump.
