The ski area includes 5 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 205km of downhill skiing, with 178 marked pistes, served by a total of 50 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Dorfgastein, Graukogel and Sportgastein.
With ski lifts as high as 2,700m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing
Gastein's mountains rise to an impressive elevation of 2,686 meters, with the Stubnerkogel and Graukogel being notable peaks. Skiers can enjoy a variety of pistes, including the famous 2.5 km long Stubnerkogel descent, and access efficient lifts such as the Stubnerkogelbahn and Graukogelbahn.
There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.
Snowboarding
Snowboarding enthusiasts will appreciate the terrain parks at Bad Gastein, including the well-maintained Snowpark Stubnerkogel, which features jumps, rails, and funboxes suitable for all levels. The varied terrain makes it a great spot for freestyle riding.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Gastein is Salzburg, 90 minutes drive away.
Klagenfurt, Ljubljana, Linz, Munich, Innsbruck Airport, Graz, Bolzano and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.
Gastein is easily accessible via the Salzburg Airport, located approximately 90 km away. From there, travelers can take a train or shuttle service directly to the resort.
