Nestled in the heart of the Salzburger Land, Salzburger Sportwelt boasts an extensive network of ski areas. The resort features 350 km of slopes, catering to beginners and experts alike.

The ski area of Salzburger Sportwelt comprises the ski slopes of 8 ski areas, including Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Filzmoos and Flachau.

Salzburger Sportwelt is within the Amadé Ski Area, which boasts 760km of downhill pistes, with 375 marked ski runs, served by 270 ski lifts.

The ski area includes 8 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 760km of downhill skiing, with 144 marked pistes, served by a total of 270 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Filzmoos, Flachau, Goldegg, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann-Alpendorf and Wagrain.

With ski lifts as high as 2,200m, snow cover is generally reliable.

Skiing

The resort is part of the Ski Amadé region, featuring the mountains of Flachau, Wagrain, and St. Johann. With elevations reaching up to 2,188 meters, notable pistes include the Star Jet and the Grafenberg, serviced by modern lifts like the 8-person gondola.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will enjoy the terrain parks at Flachau and Wagrain, which offer a variety of features for all skill levels. The parks are well-maintained, providing a great environment for practicing tricks.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Salzburger Sportwelt is Salzburg, 41 minutes drive away.

Graz, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana, Munich, Linz, Vienna, Innsbruck Airport and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.

Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The resort is easily accessible via Salzburg Airport, located about an hour away. Driving from Munich is also popular, with excellent road connections to the area.
