Dachstein-Tauern is within the Amadé Ski Area, which boasts 760km of downhill pistes, with 375 marked ski runs, served by 270 ski lifts.

The ski area includes 2 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 41 marked pistes, served by a total of 45 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in either of the ski areas of Ramsau am Dachstein and Schladming.

With ski lifts as high as 2,700m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Dachstein-Tauern is Salzburg, 70 minutes drive away.

Linz, Klagenfurt, Graz, Ljubljana, Munich, Innsbruck Airport and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Dachstein-Tauern, fly into Salzburg Airport, approximately 90 minutes away by car. Alternatively, take a train to Schladming, which is well-connected to the resort.
