La Clusaz is a charming ski resort nestled in the French Alps. It offers a variety of slopes suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

The ski area of La Clusaz is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,100m, with 125km of marked runs.

La Clusaz is part of the Annecy Mountains ski area with access to 173 marked pistes, served by a total of 150 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in La Clusaz itself (125km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Annecy Mountains ski resorts of La Sambuy / Seythenex, Le Grand Bornand, Manigod and Saint Jean de Sixt.

With ski lifts as high as 2,600m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

The longest possible descent in La Clusaz is 4km long and the most difficult run is the 'Vraille'.

Skiing

The ski area of La Clusaz is anchored by the Aravis mountain range, reaching elevations of up to 2,600 meters. Notable pistes include the varied terrain of the Aiguille and the popular Beauregard area, accessed by efficient lifts like the Crêt du Merle and the Balme.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to La Clusaz is Annecy, 39 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Sion, Berne, Saint-Étienne and Dole–Jura airports are all within three hours drive.

Annecy and Geneva are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Accessing La Clusaz is straightforward, with Geneva Airport being the closest major hub, located about 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car. Alternatively, travelers can take a train to Annecy and then a bus to the resort.

The 49 ski lifts are able to uplift 53,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 2km of ski runs, with 190 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is La Clusaz open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late December (Weekend opening 7/8 Dec, full area from 14 Dec.), and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
