Megève boasts over 400 km of ski slopes, catering to all skill levels. The resort is set against a stunning mountain backdrop, making it a favorite for both skiers and snowboarders.

The ski area of Megève is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,100m, with 445km of marked runs.

Megève is part of the Ski Pass Mont Blanc area with access to 507 marked pistes, served by a total of 248 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Megève itself (445km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Pass Mont Blanc ski resorts of Argentière, Chamonix, Combloux, Cordon, Le Tour, Les Contamines, Les Houches, Passy Plaine Joux and St Gervais Mont-Blanc.

With ski lifts as high as 2,350m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The ski area of Megève spans the Mont d'Arbois, Rochebrune, and the Jaillet mountains, with elevations reaching up to 2,350 meters. Notable pistes include the long blue run of 'La Combe' and the challenging 'Piste des Écureuils,' serviced by the efficient Mont d'Arbois and Rochebrune gondolas.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Megève is Geneva, 57 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Chambery, Grenoble, Sion, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Turin Caselle, Berne and Dole–Jura airports are all within three hours drive.

Annecy and Geneva are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Megève, the nearest major airports are Geneva Airport (about 70 km away) and Chambery Airport (approximately 100 km). Regular shuttle services and car rentals are available for convenient access.

Season Dates

When is Megève open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December (Partial opening until Christmas week when fully open), and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
