Les Houches offers a charming ski experience in the heart of the Chamonix Valley. With a variety of slopes and breathtaking scenery, it's perfect for all levels.

Les Houches is a family-friendly ski resort located just a short drive from Chamonix. It features a mix of runs suitable for beginners and more experienced skiers, all set against the backdrop of the majestic Mont Blanc.
The ski area of Les Houches is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,010m, with 55km of marked runs.
Les Houches is part of the Ski Pass Mont Blanc area with access to 507 marked pistes, served by a total of 248 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Les Houches itself (55km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Pass Mont Blanc ski resorts of Argentière, Chamonix, Combloux, Cordon, Le Tour, Les Contamines, Megève, Passy Plaine Joux and St Gervais Mont-Blanc.

The resort is part of the Chamonix Mont-Blanc ski area, boasting 55 km of pistes. Key runs include the famous La Verte and the challenging Les Houches downhill, with lifts such as the Prarion and Bellevue providing access to varied terrain and stunning views at elevations up to 1,900 meters.
Les Houches offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Les Houches is Geneva, 51 minutes drive away.
Annecy, Sion, Chambery, Grenoble, Turin Caselle, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Berne and Milan Malpensa airports are all within three hours drive.
Annecy and Geneva are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Les Houches is easily accessible via Geneva Airport, which is about an hour's drive. Alternatively, you can reach the resort by train, with links to Chamonix providing convenient connections.

The 17 ski lifts are able to uplift 16,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 12km of ski runs, with 110 snow cannons.
Season Dates
When is Les Houches open?
We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.
Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.
