Les Saisies

Les Saisies is a picturesque ski resort in the French Alps. It offers a variety of slopes suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

 Summary

Nestled in the Beaufortain region, Les Saisies features over 120 kilometers of ski slopes. The resort is family-friendly and renowned for its stunning alpine views and diverse terrain.

The ski area of Les Saisies is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,650m, with 70km of marked runs.

Les Saisies is part of the Espace Diamant ski area with access to 185km of downhill skiing, with 226 marked pistes, served by a total of 136 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Les Saisies itself (70km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Espace Diamant ski resorts of Crest Voland Cohennoz, Flumet, Notre Dame de Bellecombe and Praz sur Arly.

The ski resort itself is at 1,650m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible.

The most difficult run is the 'Les Boufeutins'.

Skiing

Les Saisies boasts two main ski areas: Les Saisies and Hauteluce, with elevations reaching up to 2,120 meters. Notable pistes include the long, winding 'Cote 2000' and the challenging 'Les Evettes', serviced by lifts like the 'Mont Bisanne' and 'Cote 2000' chairlifts.

Les Saisies offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Les Saisies is Chambery, 70 minutes drive away.

Grenoble, Annecy, Geneva, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Sion, Turin Caselle and Saint-Étienne airports are all within three hours drive.

Accessing Les Saisies is convenient via major airports such as Geneva or Chambéry. From there, a scenic drive or shuttle service will take you directly to the resort.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 24 ski lifts are able to uplift 20,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, with 49 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Les Saisies open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December (Opens weekends in December up to Christmas week ), and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at popular spots like Le Bar des Neiges or La Table de l'Ours. For a lively atmosphere, head to the nightclub, Le Bivouac.
