Flumet

Flumet is a charming ski resort nestled in the French Alps, ideal for families and beginners. With its diverse terrain and stunning mountain views, it offers a welcoming atmosphere for skiers and snowboarders alike.

The resort features 30 kilometers of slopes across the Espace Diamant ski area, with elevations ranging from 1,000 to 2,200 meters. Flumet is part of a larger interconnected ski network, providing access to varied runs suitable for all skill levels.

Flumet is part of the Espace Diamant ski area with access to 185km of downhill skiing, with 226 marked pistes, served by a total of 136 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Flumet itself (50 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Espace Diamant ski resorts of Crest Voland Cohennoz, Les Saisies, Notre Dame de Bellecombe and Praz sur Arly.

With ski lifts as high as 2,070m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Flumet is Chambery, 55 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Grenoble, Geneva, Sion, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Turin Caselle, Saint-Étienne and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

Annecy and Chambery are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Flumet, the nearest major airports are Geneva and Grenoble, both offering regular transfers to the resort. A scenic drive through the Alps is also possible for those wishing to enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way.
