Piau Engaly is part of the Pyrenees 2 Vallées ski area with access to 247km of downhill skiing, with 166 marked pistes, served by a total of 66 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Piau Engaly itself (42km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Pyrenees 2 Vallées ski resorts of Peyragudes, Saint-Lary Soulan and Val Louron.
The ski resort itself is at 1,850m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,500m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Piau Engaly is Lourdes, 89 minutes drive away.
Pau, Huesca, Carcassonne, Lleida-Alguaire, Biarritz and Toulouse airports are all within three hours drive.
Piau Engaly is easily accessible via major airports such as Toulouse-Blagnac and Tarbes-Lourdes. From these airports, rent a car or use shuttle services to reach the resort in under two hours.
