Skiing

Valtournenche features several ski areas, with elevations reaching up to 3,883 meters at Plateau Rosa. Notable pistes include the long runs from the Cervinia side and the challenging descents from the Testa Grigia, serviced by lifts such as the Breuil-Cervinia gondolas and the Valtournenche cable car.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Valtournenche is Turin Caselle, 82 minutes drive away.

Milan Malpensa, Sion, Geneva, Milan Linate, Turin Cuneo, Bergamo, Genoa, Annecy and Lugano airports are all within three hours drive.

Valtournenche is accessible via major airports like Turin and Milan. The resort is approximately 2.5 hours from Turin and 3 hours from Milan by car, making it a convenient destination for skiers.

The nine ski lifts are able to uplift 8,744 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 16km of ski runs, with 40 snow cannons.

When is Valtournenche open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid October (Normally open weekends only in October), and usual closing is Early April.
