Skiing

The Gryon ski area is part of the larger Villars-Gryon ski domain, offering over 125 kilometers of slopes. With elevations reaching up to 2,100 meters, notable pistes include the La Barboleuse and the Chaux Ronde, accessed via lifts like the Gryon cable car and the Villars gondola.

Gryon offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

Snowboarding

Snowboarding in Gryon is enjoyable with several terrain parks available. The snow park at Villars features jumps and obstacles suitable for all levels, providing a great space for freestyle enthusiasts.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Gryon is Sion, 50 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Basel, Chambery, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich and Dole–Jura airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Gryon is easily accessible via train from Geneva Airport, with a scenic route that takes around 2 hours. Travelers can also drive, with well-maintained roads leading directly to the resort.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 27 ski lifts are able to uplift 16,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 4km of ski runs, with 10 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Gryon open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, head to places like the Le Gypaète bar or the Restaurant du Châtelard for a cozy atmosphere. For nightlife, the local club, Le Bivouac, offers music and dancing.
