Skiing

The ski area of Savognin spans from 1,200 to 2,400 meters in elevation, encompassing diverse terrain across the Parc Ela region. Notable pistes include the long runs from Piz Martegnas and the family-friendly slopes at Savognin, with efficient lifts such as the Savognin gondola and the Piz Martegnas chairlift ensuring easy access to the mountain.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Savognin is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 95 minutes drive away.

Lugano, Friedrichshafen, Zurich, Memmingen, Milan Malpensa, Basel, Milan Linate and Bergamo airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Savognin, the nearest major airports are in Zurich and Geneva, both offering convenient train connections to the resort. Travelers can take the train to Chur and then a bus directly to Savognin for a scenic journey.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 14 ski lifts are able to uplift 14,400 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 5km of ski runs, with 60 snow cannons.

When is Savognin open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
