Skiing

The resort features the majestic Mythen mountains, offering over 30 kilometers of skiable terrain with elevations reaching up to 1,800 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Schwarzstock' and the scenic 'Rotenflue', serviced by efficient lifts such as the Mythenbahn and the Rothenthurm lift.

Schwyz offers good sking, particularly, for Expert skiers.

Snowboarding

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Schwyz is Zurich, 61 minutes drive away.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Basel, Lugano, Berne, Friedrichshafen, Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Memmingen airports are all within three hours drive.

Zurich is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Schwyz, fly into Zurich Airport, which is approximately 50 kilometers away. A scenic train ride from Zurich takes you directly to Schwyz, offering breathtaking views of the Swiss countryside.
