Nestled in the Julian Alps, Bled is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and welcoming atmosphere. With a variety of runs, it caters to both beginners and seasoned skiers alike.

The ski area of Bled is in the Julian Alps at an altitude of 500m.

Bled is part of the Bohinj ski area with access to 92 marked pistes, served by a total of 55 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Bled itself (3 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Bohinj ski resorts of Kobla, Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Soriska Planina, Stari Vrh and Vogel.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Skiing

Bled features the Vogel ski area, boasting 22 km of ski runs and an elevation of 1,800 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Vogel' and family-friendly 'Ski School', serviced by the Vogel gondola and multiple chairlifts.

Bled offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will enjoy the terrain park at Vogel, which offers features suitable for various skill levels. The park includes jumps, rails, and boxes for an exhilarating experience.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bled is Ljubljana, 45 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Trieste, Graz, Zagreb, Salzburg, Rijeka, Venice, Pula and Treviso airports are all within three hours drive.

Klagenfurt and Ljubljana are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Bled is easily accessible via Ljubljana Airport, located about 35 km away. Regular shuttle services and car rentals make the journey convenient for visitors.

Ski Lift Capacity

The two ski lifts are able to uplift 4,150 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, with 17 snow cannons.

When is Bled open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
