Located in the heart of the Julian Alps, Kobla features stunning views and well-groomed slopes. The resort boasts a variety of runs, catering to skiers of all levels, making it an ideal destination for families and groups.

The ski area of Kobla is in the Julian Alps at an altitude of 512m.

Kobla is part of the Bohinj ski area with access to 92 marked pistes, served by a total of 55 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Kobla itself (10 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Bohinj ski resorts of Bled, Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Soriska Planina, Stari Vrh and Vogel.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Skiing

Kobla's ski area spans 15 kilometers of slopes, with elevations reaching up to 1,400 meters. Notable runs include the blue Lojtrnik and the challenging red Kopa, serviced by modern lifts such as the Kobla chairlift and the Kopa gondola, ensuring quick access to the mountain’s best terrain.

Kobla offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Kobla is Ljubljana, 70 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Trieste and Venice airports are all within three hours drive.

Kobla is easily accessible via the main airports in Ljubljana and Trieste. From Ljubljana, take the E61 highway and follow the signs to the resort, approximately a 1.5-hour drive away, ensuring a straightforward journey.
