Vogel is part of the Bohinj ski area with access to 92 marked pistes, served by a total of 55 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Vogel itself (16 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Bohinj ski resorts of Bled, Kobla, Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Soriska Planina and Stari Vrh.

Skiing

Vogel features a skiable area of around 22 km, with elevations reaching up to 1,800 meters. Key lifts include the Vogel Gondola and the Senožeta chairlift, leading to notable pistes like the challenging 'D' run and the scenic 'B' run.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Vogel is Ljubljana, 63 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Trieste, Graz, Zagreb and Salzburg airports are all within three hours drive.

Ljubljana is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Vogel is accessible via the nearest major airport, Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, approximately 50 km away. A scenic drive or shuttle service will take you directly to the resort.

The eight ski lifts are able to uplift 6,090 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Season Dates

When is Vogel open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, visitors can unwind at bars like the Vogel Mountain Hut or dine at the restaurant offering local cuisine. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to share experiences with fellow skiers.
