Chandolin
Chandolin is a picturesque ski resort in Switzerland, known for its stunning views and excellent skiing conditions. It offers a blend of charming village life and diverse slopes for all levels.
Summary
Located in the Valais region, Chandolin boasts over 60 kilometers of skiable terrain with an elevation ranging from 1,600 to 3,000 meters. The resort is perfect for families and experienced skiers alike, featuring a variety of runs and breathtaking panoramas.
The ski area of Chandolin is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 2,000m, with 54km of marked runs.
Chandolin is part of the Sierre-Anniviers ski area with access to 80 marked pistes, served by a total of 51 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Chandolin itself (54km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Sierre-Anniviers ski resorts of Grimentz, St-Luc, Vercorin and Zinal.
The ski resort itself is at 2,000m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,715m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing
Chandolin features the impressive slopes of the Val d'Anniviers, with the highest point at 3,000 meters. Notable pistes include the long red run from the Tignousa lift and the challenging black runs from the Sorebois area, serviced by modern lifts like the Sorebois gondola.
There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Chandolin is Sion, 60 minutes drive away.
Berne, Annecy and Geneva airports are all within three hours drive.
Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Chandolin is accessible via Sion Airport, which is approximately 35 km away. From there, visitors can drive or take public transport to reach the resort, ensuring a straightforward journey.
