The ski area of Le Tour is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,450m.

Le Tour is part of the Ski Pass Mont Blanc area with access to 507 marked pistes, served by a total of 248 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Le Tour itself (10 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Pass Mont Blanc ski resorts of Argentière, Chamonix, Combloux, Cordon, Les Contamines, Les Houches, Megève, Passy Plaine Joux and St Gervais Mont-Blanc.

With ski lifts as high as 2,190m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The ski area at Le Tour covers approximately 40 km of pistes, with elevations reaching up to 2,200 meters. Notable runs include the famous Charamillon and the scenic Col de Balme, served by lifts such as the Charamillon gondola and the Tête de Balme chairlift.

Le Tour offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Le Tour is Sion, 54 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Berne, Turin Caselle, Lyon Bron, Basel and Milan Malpensa airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Le Tour, fly into Geneva Airport, approximately 88 km away, or Chambery Airport, around 140 km away. From there, take a transfer or drive via the A40 motorway for easy access.

The five ski lifts are able to uplift 8,700 skiers and snowboarders every hour.
