The ski area of Morgins is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,400m, with 100km of marked runs.

Summary

Morgins is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area with access to 410km of downhill skiing, with 115 marked pistes, served by a total of 115 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Morgins itself (100km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Portes du Soleil ski resorts of Champéry, Champoussin, Les Crosets, Torgon, Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine and Saint Jean d'Aulps.

With ski lifts as high as 2,470m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Morgins is Sion, 50 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Chambery, Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich, Turin Caselle and Dole–Jura airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The 35 ski lifts are able to uplift 17,790 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 7km of ski runs, with 15 snow cannons.

When is Morgins open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late December, and usual closing is Mid April.
