The ski area of Champoussin is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,310m, with 10km of marked runs.

Champoussin is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area with access to 650km of downhill skiing, with 285 marked pistes, served by a total of 196 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Champoussin itself (10km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Portes du Soleil ski resorts of Champéry, Les Crosets, Morgins, Torgon, Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine and Saint Jean d'Aulps.

With ski lifts as high as 2,350m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The resort is part of the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area, featuring over 650 km of runs. Champoussin has an elevation of 1,600 meters, with notable pistes like the red run Les Crosets and the lift system including the Grand Paradis and the Dents du Midi.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Champoussin is Sion, 70 minutes drive away.

Berne, Geneva, Annecy, Chambery, Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich, Turin Caselle and Dole–Jura airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Champoussin, fly into Geneva Airport, which is about 1.5 hours away by car. Alternatively, you can take a train to Aigle and connect to a local bus for a scenic journey to the resort.

When is Champoussin open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
